Indigo Kimono Cape

Cut from indigo-dyed suede and a Kikko silk obi, the indigo kimono cape has a flattering fit and is fully lined with a Meisen kimono.

About the kimonos:
An obi is a sash worn with traditional kimonos. Kikko means turtle and turtles represent longevity in Japan. Primarily worn during times of celebration, obis and kimonos with the Kikko pattern are symbolic of a long, happy life.
Artisans who made Meisen kimonos drew inspiration from the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements during the Taisho and Showa periods in Japan.
