Cut from two different kimonos, the Alani jumpsuit is reconstructed in a flattering silhouette with a waist-cinching belt. 

The jumpsuit is cut for a loose fit through the bodice and sleeves and falls to cropped, wide legs enhanced by subtle pockets. Wear yours with flat sandals, leaving a few buttons undone to create a flattering V-neck.

About the kimonos:

The top is made from a Rinzu kimono. This fabric is a type of satin traditionally used to make formal pieces such as wedding kimonos and robes called Uchikake.

The bottom is made from a Tsumugi kimono. Highly prized and of humble origins, Tsumugi fabric is a silk woven from floss remaining in the silkworm cocoon after the full threads have been removed.
