Cut from a Meisen kimono, the lilac kimono cape has a flattering fit and is fully lined with a Tsumugi kimono.

About the kimonos:
Highly prized and of humble origins, Tsumugi fabric is a silk woven from floss remaining in the silkworm cocoon after the full threads have been removed.
Artisans who made Meisen kimonos drew inspiration from the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements during the Taisho and Showa periods in Japan.
